Make a Christmas Budget.

I know. Ugh, right? But as Hubby and I have learned in our pursuit of financial peace, one must have a budget.

A budget to follow. (I mean, we've had budgets before. It is the following that is the hard part.) Anyway, we are totally into The Budget now, but Christmas requires some extra financial planning. I'm over the "put it on the card and deal with it in January" philosophy. That is so not-jolly.

So, here I go. Making my list, checking it twice, etc, etc.

Can you hear the pen and paper scratching? Some sighing, perhaps?

If you need some inspiration and motivation, read this great article. It even provides a free, downloadable Christmas budget worksheet. Come ON!

You can do it. Your wallet, and your family, will thank you.

Giving Day 16 - How about a free gift? Maybe one for you, and one for someone else? You will have your choice of items at Newby Mom's Holiday Extravaganza. It starts today! 30 favorite things given away over 30 days. Check it out! I bet you can't guess which are my favorite things . . .

  1. check - budget for Christmas was complete in September and we have been trying to space Christmas gifts out so it isn't all in one CC. I am not always this organized, but the ticking time bomb says I have less than 3 weeks to really complete : )
