Tuesday's To Do . . . won't ever be "done."

: Say Thank You

I will spend a lifetime saying, "Thank You" to God, for prayers answered or "unanswered." But today I'm following up on Tuesday's To Do by linking it with Faith Barista's jam on hope.

Because answered prayers give me hope.

Knowing that I can always turn to God gives me hope. His listening ears and guiding hands give me hope. The promise of his love, even when I don't understand the outcomes, gives me hope.

In case you are curious, (or need examples for your own motivation or inspiration) I am sharing some recent examples of what answered prayers, and hope, looks like for me.

A child came home from a hospital stay, healthy.
Difficult decisions about relationships were made.
A battle with a disease ended.
A work goal was reached.
Tongues were held.
A trip was safe and successful.
Health seems to be improving.

These were prayers for myself, for others, for people I know and people I don't really know. Just prayers. And guess what?

Prayer ---> Answers ----> Hope

What gives you hope?

  3. And,without the prayer we'd not only miss His answers, we'd miss the hope that He offers us. Thank you!

  4. Oh, Courtney! I'm so rejoicing with you. Your list of prayers answered are all such tough ones and close to the heart. I'm getting used to seeing you show up with your cup of brew on Thursdays. ;) Love your company.
