Weekend Word: Water

Friday, March 18, 2011

{Welcome to the weekend! I've chosen a word from my Bible's concordance, and am sharing a few of the related verses. I hope you will consider theses verses over the weekend, and perhaps spend time in the Word finding others. If you don't have a Bible handy, here is a great online version. Till Monday. . .}

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. Proverbs 25:21

I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward. Mark 9:41

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water. . . Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again; but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:10, 13-14
Don't forget:

If you live around Charleston, come out on Saturday, March 19th for Water Missions International's Walk for Water. Learn more here.
