What's For Dinner?

Wednesday, May 11, 2011

A common answer at my house is, "Baked fish!" Yes it is that exciting.

Indeed*, it works for me on this Works for Me Wednesday.

Baked Fish is a recipe that I use on an almost weekly basis. Don't let the fancy name fool you. It is simple and divine. Of course it comes from one of my favorite cookbooks. Read my post about the recipe and more about the source, here.

*Saying "indeed" is cool, right?

  1. YUM is right, and yes, baked fish is also a staple in my menu rotation! It's easy, healthy, and yummy. As a kid I groaned all the time about my mom's baked fish being in the menu rotation, but now as a busy SAHM, I understand why she did it! One more little thing that reminds me that I am indeed turning into my mother! (And, yes, it's cool to use the word indeed!) :)

  2. Anne - Isn't that the truth!? I am turning into my mother too :) And thanks for your endorsement of the word indeed. Makes me feel better. Have a great day!

  3. You know, I am not a fish girl. HOWEVER, when we lived in Hawaii for four years I had fish all of the time....fresh from the ocean. Totally tastes different!

  4. That dish looks exactly like something we would eat at my house, right down to the rice and the frozen vegetable mix! And yes, saying indeed is, indeed, cool.

  5. Indeed it is - sorry I couldn't resist!

And I bet every single recipe is incredible form that charleston cookbook!
