Living Happily in the Tension

Oh, I'm so happy to be an American. I'm grateful.

I'm also really happy to be a mother. I spent some time, recently, thinking about motherhood and freedom. Those two things don't always go hand in hand. Motherhood can be stifling, no? All that responsibility . . . whew.

  1. Courtney, I love your article.  You succinctly captured that amazing transition we experience when we become mamas.  And the phrase "limitation freed me" is resonating deeply.  Thank you.  Blessings today!

  2. me too!  thankful for freedom in Christ, here and yes...motherhood!  Has always been my calling.  I've loved being a mom.  Happy 4th to you too!
