Weekend Word: New

Happy New Year! Welcome to the first weekend of 2012. That brief break was just what I needed. I lived life without thinking, "This would make a good blog post!" and now I'm ready to write again. I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas, and that you are happily settling back into your normal routine. See you back here on Monday! Until then, let's have a little Weekend Word . . .

"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth." The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. Isaiah 65:17

Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
