It is Works for Me Wednesday, and do you know what works for me?

Thriving Family is a monthly magazine published by Focus on the Family. It contains advice for raising children, by age. It has articles "for him," "for her," for blended families, and for single parents. In short, it covers the entire family and provides sound, Biblical advice.

December's issue contained two articles I really enjoyed. The first was Couple-to-Couple Connections by Jim Burns, which explored how we can become friends with couples who will help us replenish our marriage. The second was Brothers, Sisters, Friends by Cynthia Tobias. (The articles have different titles online.) That article gives great tips on how to parent siblings, and the author uses real life examples of her own, very different twin boys. I thought it was incredibly helpful.

So, yes, you should subscribe to this magazine. Need another reason? IT IS FREE!!

Click here to subscribe and then skip to your mailbox with joy. It works for me.
