Weekend Word: Heart

Friday, March 2, 2012

This word is in honor of baby Henry, who received a new heart in October, after only two weeks of being on the transplant list. He was doing so well, and then his miraculous heart stopped beating on Wednesday. So many of you laid down tracks for him. Thank you.

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Deuteronomy 11:18

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:8

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. I John 3:20
