Sandra's Story

I am so proud that Newby Mom decided to focus on April as Autism Awareness Month. I think it is fair to say that in this day and age, all mothers, especially those of boys, have a heightened awareness of this condition. I cannot speak to it directly, but when we brainstormed about this issue, I immediately thought of someone who can - Sandra. She's written an e-book, called Speechless: Finding God's Grace in My Son's Autism, about her son's diagnosis and how it challenged her faith.

Sandra has a wonderful blog, Heart for Him, and she is a regular contributor at The MOB Society and Today's Housewife. I am so thankful that she agreed to write this article for us. I promise that it will make you view any challenge in your life differently.

{We are on spring break this week, so I will be *trying* to stay away from the computer. I've got posts that will publish, but I won't be linking them up to my favorite weekly parties, and I won't be responding to comments. My week will be focused on vacation time with my family. Still, I hope you will feel welcome to linger here, comment, and share a post if it touches you. I will be back next week, and can't wait to read what you wrote.}
