Making the Path Straight

Friday, May 18, 2012

I've known this verse for years, but living it is much easier said than done. I wonder, in what ways can I lean not on myself, but submit to him, this weekend?

Until Monday, may your paths be straight . . .

{Reap to Sow will return this summer, and we need you to help us choose the book. Read more about our plans here, and vote on the top sidebar. Thank you!}

  1. Leaning on ourselves is a terrible habit... and often put into action.  Good reminder.

  2. I've been thinking about Wisdom this week and this ties into my thoughts.  Sometimes I rely on my own wisdom and boy do things ever get in a mess!

    Enjoyed reading about your mom notebook.  I should have had one when my children were still at home.  I like that you used the time (and materials) you already had.  Isn't it amazing what we can accomplish in a small bit of time?

  4. This is one of my favourite passages of Scripture... I was given a little card for my purse 20+ years ago with this text on it and I have turned to these Scriptures time and time again over the years and endeavoured to obey their teaching.  God does make our paths straight when we submit to His leading.

    Lovely post!
