Monday Musings

Monday, May 7, 2012

Today's post is "late" because the weekend was full. May is one of the busiest times of year, isn't it? After being on the go, and then preparing for more "go-go" this week, it made sense for me to just close the computer last night. Hubby and I watched part of The Amazing Race and I thought about how that show would break me. Reppelling face first down a 40 story tower? No thank you.

I fell asleep thinking about to-do lists, and then, what I've enjoyed in recent days. The list of gifts continues:

1238. Horses
1239. 3 year-old legs stomping down divots.
1240. Blue skies with puffy clouds.
1241. Friends who babysit in a pinch.
1242. Being needed to soothe fears at 1:00 a.m.
1243. The way the breezes have been soft lately.
1244. Hot coffee.
1245. Ice cream cones on the back deck, totally Daddy's doing.
1246. Sand in the washing machine.
1247. This super-busy, transitioning time of year.
1248. The push to slow, to enjoy, to unplug, to savor . . . .

What are you grateful for today?
