Weekend Word: Fishers

Friday, September 21, 2012

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left their nets and followed him. Matthew 4:18-20

  1. I just reread that passage recently. How awesome. Great photo, too.

  2. This is such a great picture - it kind of looks like all the kids are the ones caught in the net of Christ.

  3. Their hearts were so deeply intent on Jesus already... and their lives began in a whole new world. I hope I do the same thing over and over again... He calls, I come. Yep, that's the way to live.
