Do you see a man skilled in his work?
He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.

  1. I love this picture -- and this Proverb makes me think that everything we do, we do unto the Lord, whether man thinks it is worthy or not.

    1. Hi Amy! Thanks for dropping by. Love seeing you here, and hope you are well, too.
      (1) No, but I'm honored. If we lived closer, we'd be meeting for coffee regularly, I know it.
      (2) Yes, the Advent Storybook is great. This is our second year enjoying it - a story for each night. Basically, it is about a little bear following the star to baby Jesus. He meets many other people/animals along the way, all on the same journey. Each night, they get a bit closer. My boys love it.

  3. Good photo; good Word. However, my husband is a very subtle worker for many and he's really, really good. [BUT, the portion that probably fits into your sharing bit is that he does what the Lord calls him to do, goes where he's been told. So, I guess that's the same as serving. I'm a blessed lady simply by being married to him. Touches me so often to see how appreciative various people are by his chores.]
