*We have a winner! Congratulations, Andrea!*
If you're like me, last Sunday night felt a little empty without Downton Abbey. Never fear. A new, epic miniseries awaits. Even though you know the story and how it ends, it promises to be amazing.
The Bible premiers on the History channel on Sunday night, March 3rd. It is produced by the husband and wife team of Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, who wanted to bring the Bible to life in a new and powerful way. They noticed their own children rolling their eyes at the special effects in the 1956 film, The Ten Commandments, and decided that they could create something accurate and stunning for this generation.
It looks authentic and awe-inspiring to me. I watched this clip from Episode 4, the David and Goliath scene, with my boys. It is one of their favorite Bible stories, and they watched this protrayal with silent awe.

Then they said, "Can we watch it again?"
I said, "Yes."
There are countless ways to connect with The Bible - CDs, DVDs, study guides, a novel - the list goes on. CeeLo Green, Blake Shelton, Joel Osteen, Bishop T.D. Jakes and MayaAngelou are just a few of the super stars lending their talents to this production.
Thanks to my friends at Grace Hill Media, I'm honored to be able to offer you a copy of A Story of God and All of Us, Reflections, which is a devotional companion to the series. It includes 100 devotions, spanning from Genesis to Revelations, with images from the series. You can preorder one here, or comment to be entered to win.
